I would suggest signing up for a free google account first. Google has numerous services and products that anyone can use with ease. If you have a BlackBerry and you haven’t installed the Google Mobile App, then you are missing out on load of information. It has GMail, GCalSync, and Picasa, as well as Google Mobile Maps. Google Maps is the best mapping program I have come upon for free on the net. It beats the pants off of most mapping programs that are preinstalled on you phone. It will even find your relative position using the GPS on your phone. If you don’t have GPS on your phone, then it will triangulate you position with LBS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Location-based_service It locates you on its map via cell tower from around your position.
